Our Ethiopian church forest team has identified these critical church forests for conservation. Now you can have your own biodiversity “save-a-species” legacy, and save a named church forest in perpetuity. These costs include the stone wall around the church, local labor, hygiene installations to insure that the church biodiversity has appropriate stewardship, gates, and a truly sustainable approach. This Sustainable approach involves a win – win – win situation:
- Better farming for the locals by removing stones from their fields
- Local jobs by paying local unemployed people to build the stone walls
- Longterm conservation of the forests by creating an attractive perimeter delineation that the church has approved.
