*** UPDATE *** (10/16/2012): An updated table and other info are available here.

Our Ethiopian church forest team has identified these critical church forests for conservation. Now you can have your own biodiversity “save-a-species” legacy, and save a named church forest in perpetuity. These costs include the stone wall around the church, local labor, hygiene installations to insure that the church biodiversity has appropriate stewardship, gates, and a truly sustainable approach. This Sustainable approach involves a win – win – win situation:

  1. Better farming for the locals by removing stones from their fields
  2. Local jobs by paying local unemployed people to build the stone walls
  3. Longterm conservation of the forests by creating an attractive perimeter delineation that the church has approved.
