Australian Radio broadcast with Special Guest: CanopyMeg!

TREE Foundation Executive Director Meg Lowman was interviewed by Australian radio on forests as sacred landscapes (Sacred landscapes: the forest as mirror and sanctuary). The interview is available now for listening online. You can hear Meg talk about her efforts in conserving the sacred forests of Northern Ethiopia! You can listen to Meg discuss the importance of conserving the last small sections of forest. They also are very important to the spirituality of Ethiopian Christianity.

The Tree Foundation in January 2009 partnered with the Christian Orthodox clergy in Ethiopia to conserve the forest of their church. They need your help to continue preserving these sensitive forests of great religious importance. Current estimates suggest that the forests could be gone within ten years without further intervention.
