In celebration of Earth Day (April 22), PlantWave invites you to reconnect with the natural world through sound. As more of us live in urban, screen-filled environments, we often miss the subtle voices of nature all around us!
This unique webinar blends music, science, and storytelling. The program features a live, nature-inspired trumpet performance, a preview of the Symphony for the Earth project, and talks from leading voices including Meg Lowman and Bryan Pijanowski.
You’ll also experience recordings of plant-generated music, environmental soundscapes from Florida and beyond, and even ultrasonic sounds plants make under stress, revealing a hidden acoustic world.
The event concludes with a discussion on “listening to nature,” exploring how technology and emerging ideas around plant intelligence can deepen our awareness and appreciation of the living world.
