Last year, TREE was able to support the conservation of baobab trees in Tanzania through a donor’s generosity, and now the locals are planting new trees as well as saving big ones! Chris Simwinga, Co-founder and Programs Coordinator of Serengeti Eco Protection and Development Alliance (SEPDA TANZANIA) provided these photos showing recent planting activities, reporting, “I have launched a campaign to plant 25 million trees in all regions of Tanzania. Each school will plant and maintain 2000 trees.”
