Guest speaker Dr. Stephen Leatherman, known worldwide as Dr. Beach for his annual beach rankings, is an expert in coastal geology and marine issues, including red tide and sargassum outbreaks. He will discuss the importance of coastal trees to beach communities, as well as the economic value of healthy beaches, forests, and landscapes in Florida.
